Meghan Markle is getting back to her movie star roots on the red carpet.

On Sunday, she and Prince Harry attended the London premier of The Lion King,People reports. This is the first time the couple has walked a red carpet together, and they looked stunning for their inaugural appearance. Meghan wore a black A-line dress with a sheer panel and long sleeves by designer Jason Wu, and accessorized the look with black Aquazzara pumps and a black Gucci clutch with rhinestone detailing. Prince Harry was dashing as ever in a classic black tuxedo.

The evening was thrown to support the couple's ongoing conservation efforts in Africa, ahead of their trip to the continent (their first with baby Archie!) in the next few months. While at the premiere, the royals rubbed elbows with the movie's cast, including BeyoncГ© and her hubby Jay-Z. After the couples exchanged hugs, they even got to talking about parenthood. In a video taken by royal commentator Rebecca English, BeyoncГ© told Meghan, "The baby is so beautiful, we love you guys."

During their conversation, Prince Harry revealed that baby Archie recently mastered a new skill. He imitated his son stretching his neck to the sky and lifting his head up while Beyoncé responded, “He's holding his neck up?” He then mimicked his reaction to Archie's new milestone with excited clapping and cheering. He also shared that little Archie is growing up quite fast by turning to his wife and saying their newborn son is "not so little anymore."

Later, Prince Harry asked how BeyoncГ© and Jay-Z's about their young twins, Rumi and Sur, saying, "And how are the twins?"

BeyoncГ© replied with, "They are not here. They don't come on every trip. We left them at home. They would have loved to be here."

Before the couples parted ways Jay-Z even gave Prince Harry some important parenting advice. "The best advice I can give you, always find time for yourself," he told the royal.

While the duo was not in attendance at last year's royal wedding, Beyoncé and Meghan seem to be mutual fans of one another. During Black History Month, the singer (who plays Nala in the film) took to Instagram to congratulate the royal on her pregnancy, writing, "In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.”

Africa holds a special place in both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's hearts. Early in their relationship, the couple traveled to Botswana together, and cite it as the place where they first fell in love. “We camped out with each other under the stars,” Harry said of the trip during his first post-engagement interview with Meghan. “She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic. So, then we were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to get to know each other.” The couple also traveled to Victoria Falls for Meghan's birthday in 2017, just ahead of their engagement, and her ring features a conflict-free center stone from Botswana.

The couple has been so invested in their work in Africa that there have even been rumors that they may move to the continent at some point in the future. “Courtiers have drawn up plans to hand the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a major international job that could see them moving abroad after the birth of their child,” a source told The Sunday Times shortly before Archie's birth. "Discussions are at an early stage, but the plan is to find a new way of using their soft power abilities, most likely in Africa."
