Former President Barack Obama may no longer be president of the United States, but he is still the president of marriage goals as long we are concerned. His relationship with former first lady Michelle Obama is truly aspirational, and after 25 years of marriage, the Obamas probably possess a wealth of invaluable marriage advice. Luckily, Obama shared a bit of that insight with Dan Pfeiffer, his former communications director and Pod Save America host, and Pfeiffer in turn shared it with all of us in his new book, Yes We Still Can: Politics in the Age of Obama, Twitter and Trump.

In the book, Pfeiffer quoted Obama as the former president revealed the three questions one should ask themselves to see if they found 'the one.'

"Here's the advice I give everyone about marriage-is she someone you find interesting?" Obama asked Pfeiffer in an excerpt of the book that has been circulating around social media.

"You will spend more time with this person than anyone else for the rest of your life, and there is nothing more important than always wanting to hear what she has to say about things."

"Does she make you laugh?" Obama continued. "And I don't know if you want kids, but if you do, do you think she will be a good mom? Life is long. These are the things that really matter over the long term."

Pfeiffer told his former boss that his love was "incredibly interesting, funnier than I am, and will be a phenomenal mom."

"Sounds like she's the one," Obama confirmed. "Lucky you."
