Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's upcoming royal wedding might have some similarities to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials, but unlike the the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's big day won't have such a staggering price tag-at least by royal standards, anyway.

Ahead of Meghan and Harry's royal wedding in May, Kensington Palace released a statement that read: "As was the case with the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Royal Family will pay for the core aspects of the wedding, such as the church service, the associated music, flowers, decorations, and the reception afterwards." And May's royal wedding certainly tallied up quite the bill. Bridebook previously estimated that Meghan and Harry's nuptials cost nearly $45,520,303.

According to Business Insider per Express, Princess Eugenie's parents, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, will most likely split the bill with the groom's family. Luckily for them however, this wedding is slated to be significantly less expensive compared to Meghan and Harry's big day, with Town & Country estimating that Princess Eugenie's nuptials will probably cost between $500,000 and $1 million.

Why the drastic difference? Security. The majority of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's budget went to the cost of security which totaled an estimated ВЈ20 million and was the only part of the wedding paid for by British taxpayers, according to Express.

Extreme security measures were taken at Meghan and Harry's nuptials, as thousands upon thousands of people headed to Windsor to witness the event at St. George's Chapel-the same venue where Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank will say "I do." However, Express predicts that fewer crowds will head to Windsor for this upcoming royal wedding, lessening the need and cost for security forces, and in turn, greatly reducing Princess Eugenie's overall wedding budget.

But just because the cost is expected to be less, doesn't mean Princess Eugenie is going light on style! With A-listers such as Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevingne expected to make the guest list cut, this royal wedding will be quite the party.
